First football match and a hattrick at 93 years old!

Rob enjoyed a special moment at one of Cardiff Care Homes last week. Dorothy was reluctant to join in with one of our football sessions, citing that she disliked football and always let her late husband know just how much she hated it. However, she agreed to come down and take a look as it meant she could listen to some of her favourite music.

Dorothy decided to join in and scored a hat trick in the football match! She said at the end that she now loved football and it would have been great if her husband could have seen her playing! It’s fantastic that Dorothy has found a new sport at 93 years old!
