Rise was the brainchild of Rob Oyston who developed the idea for the movement-based programme following a stay in hospital.
Rob successfully launched his programme in the care home sector where the vibrancy of classes and inclusivity of the adapted sports activities won over the hearts and minds of residents and care home owners alike – now Rise operates in a wide range of settings.
Rise seated sports programmes are specifically designed to promote both mental and physical health and well-being. With 30 years industry experience we have designed and created an adapted sports programme, to enable people of all ages and diverse abilities to remain as active as possible in a safe environment.
Our programmes are fully inclusive creating opportunities for everyone to participate, they are fun, engaging and interactive. The aim of Rise is to promote positive outcomes for all participants, through activity and bringing the joy and fun of sports into their own environments.
