Franchise growth for Rise

Since its launch just four months ago, the Rise franchise is growing at a pace with two new territories joining the growing network.

Rise offers a range of activities based on adapted games, sports and dance. These activities are tailored to people’s physical ability or cognitive capacity to bring health and wellbeing benefits.

Hot on the heels of Rise’s pilot territories in south Wales (Cardiff East and Cardiff West), which opened in September 2021, offices in Epsom and Warrington & Halton are now ready to offer the Rise range of activities across their communities.

Debbie and Andrew Heffernan have become Rise franchisees in Epsom, Surrey with the activities in Warrington & Halton being run by Rise employees Daisy Webber and Vicki Martin.

On becoming a franchisee, Debbie Heffernan said: “We are excited to be on board with Rise and can see how it will enable us to deliver real benefits to people in our local community.

“We have known Trevor for a number of years through the care sector; his reputation is second to none. We really can’t wait to get started.”

The operation in the Warrington & Halton will be run by Daisy Webber and Vicki Martin. The pair share a passion for making Rise activities accessible for all and have been closely involved in the set up of the business.

Daisy commented: “We will be delivering Rise activity sessions across the Warrington and Halton community, helping to reduce the impact of isolation and loneliness felt by many after the pandemic and allowing people to socialise again in a fun, positive and inclusive way.

“Rise sessions are a fantastic concept and so much fun. They enable people to take part in team sport and exercise, no matter what their age or mobility, there is something for everyone to enjoy.”
